Batchelor of Science Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University 1948, Batchelor of Naval Science & Tactics Purdue University 1948.

1948-1996 Worked mostly as Engineer in product design and development at the following companies:  Barber Colman Company Rockford IL, The Broaster Company Rockton IL, Durand Machinery Woodbury GA,  Copystatics Manufacturing Company Miami Lakes FL, Davmor Manufacturing Div Miami FL, WMI Robot Systems Hialeah Gardens FL,  Gribetz International Sunrise FL. Also worked during  mid 1960’s as Systems Research Team Leader, in Application of Computers to Automation of Manufacturing, at Lockheed Aircraft Company Marietta Ga,

Retired from day jobs in 1996.

Founded Pelican Harbor Seabird Station Inc in Miami FL in 1981, caring for wounded pelicans while still working as engineer (above).  Current position, Board of Directors (Secretary) of Pelican Harbor Seabird Station Inc, and Board of Directors (Secretary) of Pelican Harbor Seabird Station Foundation, Miami, FL.
