Carla Zepeda

Carla started at PHSS in January of 2013 and it has become her home away from home ever since. She has participated in many international wildlife internships during her time at PHSS. She has studied livestock in Mexico, avian wildlife care at the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center and specialized in parrot care and release at Belize Bird Rescue.

In fall 2014, she obtained her state and federal wildlife rehabilitation permits and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology in the fall of 2015. After graduation she joined PHSS as the Rescue and Release Coordinator as well as Volunteer Coordinator. She is currently on track for a Veterinary Medicine degree.
