Assistant Wildlife Rehabilitator
Victoria began interning at Pelican Harbor Seabird Station in September of 2015. After several months proving her dedication and commitment to the center, she officially joined the team as a staff member in the summer of 2016. Working in the clinic has been one of her favorite experiences thus far. She grew up rescuing numerous animals and bringing them to PHSS, so she feels especially privileged to be a part of such a wonderful organization.
While wildlife rehabilitation has become one of her passions, her ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2015, where she majored in Cognitive Science. Following her return to Miami, she has been preparing for veterinary school by seeking out a wide range of animal-related experiences and taking a variety of science classes. When she isn’t working or studying, she’s most likely taking care of her dogs, cats, tortoises, turtles, ducks, chickens, and quail – many of which were adopted from Pelican Harbor!
