Aggie · Ambassador Brown Pelican
Aggie is a Brown Pelican who has been around PHSS for decades but became a permanent resident recently when it was determined she was too accustomed to being fed by humans and refused to hunt for herself. She quickly bonded with another ambassador Pelican at the time, Larry, but unfortunately, he passed away in early 2023. In late 2023, she found a new mate with our other ambassador Pelican, Pepe. She now lives a spoiled and happy life with our permanent pelican flock!
Aggie officially came to PHSS in January 2018 as an adult making her at least 6 years old. Because she’s flighted, she can usually be found perching above the other permanent pelicans!
