Luna · Ambassador Great Horned Owl

Luna is a Great Horned Owl that was transferred to our clinic from another wildlife rehabilitation hospital in Northern Florida after being found with a severe eye injury due to being hit by a car. After making a recovery, she has been trained by our Rehabilitation Manager to attend several events every year to teach the community about her species!

Luna came to PHSS in November 2016 as an adult making her at least 7 years old. She enjoys eating her dinner with visitors to show off her beautiful plumage!
