Maggie · Ambassador Virginia Opossum

Maggie is a Virginia Opossum that came to our clinic after a good Samaritan found her and her siblings on the road after her mom was hit by a car and was diagnosed with permanent trauma to her back legs. She has several jobs here at PHSS including teaching the community about her species through school presentations as well as during on-site tours.

Maggie is 2 years old with an early July birthday making her a Cancer. She enjoys cuddling in her sling and eating smelt fish!
