George Escobar · Wildlife Intake Coordinator
George is a lifelong advocate of Florida's ecosystem. Rooted in a profound admiration for the environment in which he grew up, he holds an Associate of Arts Degree focusing in Geology from Miami-Dade College and is working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geosciences at FIU. During his time at MDC, he held an internship at The Art Experience, an organization responsible for providing in-depth tours of cultural sites around Miami. In addition to curating guides with the Art Experience, aiding in the expansion of several small businesses in the Wynwood area has given George a solid background in hospitality and data management.
Driven by an aspiration to deepen his knowledge of the critical field of wildlife medicine and his fascination with the intricate relationship between humans, wildlife, and the land we share, George joined PHSS in June of 2023. With a heartfelt desire to create positive change, he is determined to utilize his experience to make a meaningful impact in his home environment.
