Resources and Referrals

At Pelican Harbor Seabird Station we are committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured or orphaned brown pelicans, seabirds and other native wildlife; and the preservation and protection of these species through educational and scientific means.

We focus our resources on native species and unfortunately are not able to treat every animal.

There is not enough time or resources to be everywhere at once! However, we are fortunate to have a network of other rehabilitation professionals and animal lovers to help. Please use these referrals below to make sure that all animals get the help they need.

NON-Native species

These are just a few of the non-native/domestic species we do not treat here at the station.

Please contact us directly to see if the animal you found should be brought in to PHSS or if we can refer you to an organization that can properly assist you.
