Marcus mccarthy

Marcus is the principal owner of McCarthy Real Estate, a real estate development company, and a 20 year partner in a restaurant chain located in Houston. 

Marcus was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated w a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where he met his wife Jane McCarthy.  Marcus was involved in the United Way as a Big Brother for 15 years.  He worked for Sensormatic Electronics based in Deerfield Beach, FL early in his career and was drawn to the ocean, taking Scuba classes and being certified in multiple disciplines including mixed gas, rescue, deep divining as well as recreational Free Diving. 

Spending time outdoors diving, cycling, or hiking would be his place of choice.  Marcus and his wife Jane have lived in Florida part time for 14 years.  When their daughters graduated from high school four years ago, they moved to Florida and made Ft Lauderdale their home.
