Stephanie Moure · Operations & it mANAGER

Shortly after graduating high school in 2012, Stephanie moved to Japan and began her career in animal care. She began by working at an animal shelter that took in surrendered pets and stray animals found by good Samaritans and helped them get adopted out to their forever homes. After coming back to the States, she began working in veterinary hospitals and soon realized her passion for animals.

Moving back to Miami in 2017, Stephanie began looking for organizations that helped animals in need and began to learn about wildlife medicine and the necessity for education and care for wildlife in Miami. She found PHSS and learned about the work we’re doing to rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife and in July 2018, she became the Front Office Coordinator at Pelican Harbor Seabird Station. Since then, she has grown into the Operations and IT Manager.

Stephanie has graduated as a Full Stack Web Developer from Miami Dade College and is continuing her studies in Computer Science. With this, she hopes to help advance the reach for PHSS! She is thrilled to be using her skills to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently allowing us to continually increase our service to native wildlife and the community.
