We are happy to begin welcoming visitors to the Seabird Station to share the wonderful work we do!

We are now open every day from 9 am-5 pm for self-guided audio tours! During this time, you’ll be able to walk around our habitats and see the permanent pelicans bathing in their pools, the patients in care stretching their wings and practicing how to fly, and the beautiful Biscayne Bay. A self-guided tour of PHSS is ideal for bird enthusiasts and novices alike. Tours change with the seasons and even day to day, so visit often!

Audio Tour QR Codes.png

You’ll see several signs like this one on the left placed by different habitats in the back each having its own QR code. Each one will have different information on each habitat and the patients that might be inside. You’ll learn more info about our history, our permanent residents, some common injuries we treat and learn about our future!

If you have an iPhone or Android (newer model), simply open your camera, focus on the QR code, and you’ll get a notification with a link to open the audio file! With older Android models, you may need an app (read more about how to scan QR codes).

*You’re welcome to take pictures while visiting but please remember these are wild animals. We ask that you keep your voice low and don’t use your flash near the animals as they are in rehabilitation and scare easily.

We hope you visit soon and enjoy your time here! Please let us know what you thought about the tour and send us any feedback or questions by emailing Stephanie@pelicanarbor.org. We hope you’ll visit again soon!
